[How to upgrade the firmware of YP-C1]

(Very Important !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

You have to upgrade the firmware in recovery mode.

Please upgrade the firmware like below.(to upgrade in recovery mode)

(Save the important data to the other storage before upgrading the YP-C1!!)

1. Remove the battery from YP-C1.

2. While pressing the "Play"buttonof YP-C1, connect YP-C1 to the PC. You have to press the "Play"buttoncontinuously.

3. Execute the "YP-C1 Updater"forupgrading the firmware. You have to press the "Play"buttoncontinuously.(Normally it takes 10 seconds.)

In case of searching device driver, you have to click “Next” to go on.(Important!!). It needs more time.

4. If "YP-C1 Updater"'sprogressive bar is gone by(There is some image on the LCD of YP-C1), you can release the "Play"button.

5. If "YP-C1 Updater"isavailable, you have to upgrade the firmware after checking "Format Data Area"

6. If "YP-C1 Updater"upgradingjob is completed, close the upgrading job.

7. After disconnect the "Removable disk"safely, disconnect the USB cable of the YP-C1.

8. After Entering the YP-C1's Menu → Settings → System → About, check the firmware version.

9. All is done. Thank you.

FAQ)

1) It doesn't work after upgrading the firmware.

→ It is recommended to connect YP-C1 to the PC in recovery mode and upgrade the firmware.(Refer to the above procedure.)

2) While connecting USB in recovery mode, there is protocol error..

→ Use the rear USB port of the PC for connecting USB.

(It is recommended for upgrading the firmware safely)

반드시 Recovery Mode로 연결하여 업그레이드하시기 바랍니다.

다음과 같이 펌웨어 업그레이드를 하십시오

(Recovery Mode(복구모드) 연결, 업그레이드는 아래와 같이 하시면 됩니다.)

(펌웨어 업그레이드전에 YP-C1내의 중요자료는 백업해 두세요!!)

1. YP-C1의 밧데리를 제거합니다.

2. YP-C1의 Play버튼을 누른 상태에서 USB를 연결하세요. Play 버튼은 계속 누르고 있어야 합니다.

3. 설치된 YP-C1 Updater를 실행하세요. Play버튼은 계속 누르고 계셔야 합니다.(보통 10초이내)

Device Driver 장치를 찾는 경우, “다음” 버튼을 클릭하세요. 시간이 약간 더 소요됩니다.

4. YP-C1 Updater의 진행바가 진행되면(LCD에 이미지가 표시되면), 누르고 계셨던 Play버튼을 놓으세요.

5. YP-C1 Updater가 실행가능한 상태가 되면, 반드시 “데이터 영역 포맷팅” 부분을 체크 하신 후 업그레이드하시기 바랍니다.

6. YP-C1 Updater의 펌웨어 업그레이드 작업이 종료되면("완료"표시), 프로그램을 닫고 업그레이드 작업을 종료합니다.

7. USB 안전제거를 하시고 YP-C1의 USB 케이블을 제거하시기 바랍니다.

8. YP-C1의 Menu → Settings → System → About에 진입하여 업그레이드된 버전을 확인하십시오.

1) 펌웨어 업그레이드 이후 정상적인 동작이 어렵습니다.

→ Recovery 모드로 연결하여 업그레이드를 하세요.(위의 절차를 따르세요.)

2) Recovery 연결 작업중 통신 에러가 발생합니다.

→ PC 뒷면에 있는 USB 포트를 사용하세요.
